Our comprehensive Pedorthic assessments by J. Wellington will typically take about 45 minutes and will consist of a series of tests ranging from walking gait analysis, muscle strength, foot/ankle alignment and joint flexibility.

Calgary Plantar Fasciitis

At Mount Royal Village Family Chiropractic we have been successful in treating cases of Plantar Fasciitis using a multidisciplinary approach. As always we first look to the cause of the Plantar Fasciitis. Is the condition a function of misalignment of your gait cycle, and is that a function of foot biomechanics, hip or lumbar misalignment, muscle imbalance and spasm or other underlying conditions.

Once we understand the likely cause of your condition our team of health professionals will proceed to treat the pain associated with the Plantar Fasciitis as well as work toward correcting the underlying cause.

Calgary Custom Foot Orthotics

Mount Royal Village Family Chiropractic, Massage and Acupuncture is pleased to offer our patients the option of Custom Foot Orthotics.

Our orthotics are individually made, three-dimensional inserts which can be used with your everyday shoes to help decrease high-pressure areas in the feet and stabilize your foot alignment, thereby reducing any pain and discomfort. They do not change the anatomy of your foot and function only when you are standing or walking on them.

Typically they are used to relieve symptoms of plantar fasciitis, metatarsal gia, neuromas, and many other foot and ankle injuries. They are highly recommended for individuals with diabetes, poor circulation, and arthritis.

Only five stars? I would give more.... My teenage son and I have had a fantastic experience with Dr. Pat, and all of his associates. They treat you like family.
